About

Gringo Nordic Coffee Roasters is a specialty roastery founded in May 2018 by Johan Ekfeldt in Gothenburg, Sweden, together with his wife Pernilla and business partner Magnus Alfjärd. Ekfeldt previously co-founded Johan & Nyström, Sweden's first specialty coffee roastery, and also owns a coffee farm in Colombia (Finca La Tierra). The roastery uses an energy-efficient air-flow drum roaster and a slow-roast method in small batches, sourcing 100% traceable coffees directly from single farms, estates, and cooperatives. An on-site coffee bar and roastery shop is open weekdays and select Saturdays, with monthly free cupping sessions.
