About

Specialty coffee roaster and retailer founded in 2016 in Funabashi, Chiba, Japan by World Brewers Cup Champion Tetsu Kasuya and co-founder Masami Kaji. Kasuya was the first Asian to win the World Brewers Cup (2016). The name blends 'philosophy' and 'coffea'. Focuses on traceable single-origin lots with a numbered SKU system distinguishing single origins, award-winning lots, and blends. Operates cafes in Funabashi, Narashino (Chiba), and Omotesando (Tokyo).
