About

Specialty coffee roaster founded in 2008 in East London (Walthamstow) by 2007 World Barista Champion James Hoffmann and 2007 World Cup Tasters Champion Anette Moldvaer; now directed by Felicity Whitehead. Pioneered the modern London specialty coffee scene. Sources seasonal single-origin filter and espresso coffees, roasts the long-running Red Brick Espresso blend, and operates education programs including Twelve Lessons in Coffee and the Prufrock Barista Training Centre. Wholesale-only; no retail cafe.
