About

Black Fox Coffee Co. is a New York City specialty coffee roaster and cafe group founded in 2016 by Daniel Murphy and Gary Hardwick. Designed in homage to the European espresso bar, they operate multiple cafes in Manhattan and roast their own single-origin coffees alongside curating guest offerings from roasters such as Coffee Collective and Square Mile. They focus on direct-trade community lots and micro-lots from Colombia, Rwanda, and Peru, and source green coffee through partners including The Coffee Quest.
