Third-generation producer at Janson Family Coffee in Volcán, Boquete, Panama, where the family has farmed since 1926. Kai returned from the United States to co-lead the estate alongside his sister Janette and her son Miguel. The farm cultivates Geisha, Catuai, Caturra, and Pacamara at high altitude near the Costa Rica border. The Janson Geisha has won multiple awards at the Best of Panama competition and is internationally recognized as one of Panama's finest. The family built their own beneficio in 1993 and continuously innovates in cherry handling and processing.
