Grown by 14 small-scale producers in the hills surrounding San Antonio, Colombia at 1,800 to 2,100 masl. Farms in this area are typically very small, averaging one hectare, with producers and their families performing most of the farmwork themselves. Cherries are hand-picked and wash-processed, with producers either milling on-site or sharing a mill with neighbours. Caffeine is removed using the EA sugarcane process, which uses water and ethyl acetate derived from sugarcane to gently remove caffeine while preserving the coffee's natural flavours.
