Skylark Coffee

Skylark Coffee is a Brighton-based specialty coffee roaster and the only 100% non-profit specialty coffee brand in the UK, operating as a registered charity under OCB Initiatives. Founded by Micah Sherer (a former elite barista with supply chain experience across Africa and South America) and Ben Szobody (former political journalist and co-publisher of Longberry magazine), the roastery uses a Probat roaster at the foot of the South Downs. Skylark pays above Fair Trade prices and donates 100% of profits to environmental and farmer empowerment projects. Coffees are grouped by flavour profile: Brown (classic, chocolatey), Blue (fruity, boozy), Green (floral, citrusy), and Pink (fruity and floral). Unroasted green coffee is also available for home roasters.
