About

Optimist Coffee is a specialty coffee roastery founded in December 2023 by Tom in Pittenhart, Bavaria, in the Chiemgau region of Germany. The roastery focuses exclusively on specialty-grade single-origin coffees sourced through transparent supply chains. All coffees are roasted on a Loring S35 Kestrel using individually developed roast profiles, then color-sorted to remove defects. The roastery operates a small on-site factory shop open on Fridays and Saturdays.
