Mr. Hoban's Coffee Roastery is a specialty coffee roastery founded in 2012 by Jan-Cort Hoban in Hamburg, Germany. The roastery operates from Wedeler Landstrasse 170 in the Rissen district and roasts on a 35-kilogram Loring Smart Roast drum roaster, chosen for its low emissions and clean cup profile. Hoban maintains long-term direct relationships with producers in Brazil, Guatemala, Colombia, and El Salvador. The roastery has been climate- and water-neutral since 2016 through tree-planting and Gold Standard carbon offset projects, and has been a Slow Food supporter since 2019.
