About

Micro roastery and cafe group based in Prague, Czech Republic, founded in May 2023 by Jackie and Thu, life partners who met in a coffee shop. Jackie, formerly a designer in San Francisco, shifted to specialty coffee after opening an initial cafe inspired by a trip to Iceland. Mazelab sources seasonal beans from around the world, roasting with care to express each coffee's natural character. The team has won multiple Czech national competition titles and Jackie placed sixth at the 2024 World Brewers Cup in Chicago. Mazelab also operates several distinct Prague cafes including Cafefin, Format Coffee, An Bistro Cafe, and May.
