About

Specialty coffee roastery founded in 2018 by Sebastian Schulz in Wiesbaden, Germany, drawing on the heritage of Kaffeehaus Maldaner — the first original Viennese coffee house in Germany, established in 1859. Maldaner Coffee Roasters roasts on a Loring S35 Kestrel at a co-roasting space in Darmstadt, focusing on ethically sourced, transparently traded single-origin lots and espresso roasts. The brand operates a Coffee & Culture Lab and specialty retail shop in Wiesbaden, a historic Kaffeehaus in Wiesbaden, and a brew-and-espresso bar in Mainz. Coffee is sold online and via B2B wholesale, and the ReCan reusable-container packaging system is used for B2B deliveries.
