About

Elbgold is a specialty coffee roaster founded in Hamburg in 2004 by Annika Taschinski and Thomas Kliefoth. Built on direct trade partnerships, fair pricing, and advance payments to producers, the roastery sources single-origin lots from Africa, Latin America, and Asia. It operates its own roastery in the Schanzenhöfe district using Loring roasters, along with five retail cafes across Hamburg and an in-house bakery.
