About

Specialty coffee roaster founded in 2014 by Dave Stanton in Exeter, Devon, England. Crankhouse began in a single car garage, relocated through a converted Dartmoor barn and a central Exeter site, and now operates from a small industrial unit near Exeter airport. The roastery maintains a rotating single-origin catalog with a focus on traceable, high-quality lots sourced through direct relationships with importers. They are contributing members of the Specialty Coffee Association, World Coffee Research, Alliance for Coffee Excellence, and One Percent for the Planet.
