About

BRÜHBAR Kaffeerösterei is a specialty coffee roastery founded in 2012 by Peter Dorndorf in the Plagwitz district of Leipzig, Germany. Dorndorf is a Röstmeister and certified Kaffeesommelier with over 19 years of experience. The roastery uses a slow, Scandinavian light-roast profile to express the individual terroir of each Arabica origin, unlocking over 800 aroma compounds. Coffees are sold at the roastery shop on Weißenfelser Straße and through an online shop, and are stocked in around 29 cafes, restaurants and markets in and around Leipzig. The roastery is bio-certified.
