New Kenyan coffees have arrived! Kegwa AA comes from the Kegwa Factory in the Kirinyaga region of Kenya processed as fully washed and is AA size. Kirinyaga is known for having rich volcanic soils and high altitudes, above 1600 masl. This coffee comes by way of the Kegwa Factory where there are over a thousand smallholders involved in bringing cherries to the factory comprising of SL-28, SL-34 and Ruiru 11. We have been eagerly awaiting the arrival of our Kenyan’s since the samples hit our cupping table earlier this year! They are everything we look for in Kenyan coffees! This one is tasting like lemon, cherry and blackberry with a juicy mouthfeel!
